Turquoise Overdose!!

Summers are girls favourite even when its too hot!! The best trends and styles come in summer fashion and we all follow them in some way or the other. One thing which you all will agree with me is that summers call for easy breezy and light clothing which is comfortable yet high on style factor. For day outings its a must that we are dressed in clothes which are not too body hugging and are airy. Off course the night outfits can be all bodycon dresses and our favourite LBDs.

I am a sucker for easy breezy attires and light fabrics which are skin friendly. And this summers “Turquoise” has become my favourite color or you can say Turquoise is the color of the season 😃 atleast for me!! From Indian attires to indowestern outfits my closet is full of this color 🙈🙈. Does it happen with you too? When you like a particular color a lot, you tend to buy every dress of the same color 💙💙!!

So in this post I ll be sharing two styles which are perfect for day outings but both outfits share the same color😁!!

Vajor.com offers clothing which are best for summers. The fabrics, the colors, the dresses you will find outfits which are perfect for summers.

Dhoti pants are super cool and comfortable outfit perfect for Delhi summers. The best part of this outfit is that it can be styled with anything. If you have just bought dhoti pants you need not buy a separate top or shirt to match it!! Your closet has enough styles to mix and match with it.

Here I styled these beautiful dhoti pants with a plain white tee and accessorized it with a blue stone necklace. This look didn’t required any other accessory since the dhoti pants itself has a beautiful embroidered belt embellished with silver coins and tassels. Styling these with a tee gave it an Indo western look.

You can carry this look to all your summer outings, college fests, while travelling as this look is hassle free and easy breezy.

Coming to the second style, I wore this beautiful wrap around turquoise skirt with the same white tee and created an ethnic look.

Wrap around skirts are easy to wear and can be paired with any contrast color. I fell in love with this skirt instantly as its rare to find the skirt in these beautiful color combinations. Often I only see prints in blue and red with same Rajasthani patterns. This skirt not only had bright color combinations but also beautiful patterns.

Making it a complete ethnic look I wore a long silver locket and silver studs. Since i wanted ethnic look I also wore a silver bangle.

You can carry this look whenever you are planning a trip to places like Jaipur, Udaipur, Rajasthan where people wear this kind of colorful ethnic attires. Also when you are visiting some ancient monuments and forts, wearing ethnic attires give your pictures a magnificent look.

The Classic White!!

Hello my Gorgeous People!!

Its been a really really long time since I wrote my last post. Still, whenever I visit my blog I see my viewers increasing. Well, this means a lot!! I have been really ill these months and although I had so much in my mind, I could not make it on my blog.

Well, one fine morning when I got dressed up for some event, I thought of penning it down for a new post. This overall attire is very simple yet you will find it elegant, classy and in vogue. And somehow, whenever I wear an outfit which is in white color, I automatically feel the positive vibes. Have you ever felt so? White color has their charismatic appeal and royalness which makes you feel confident and classy.

Coming to my Outfit, I paired this white front cut kurta with navy blue flared palazzo. If you have gone through my previous post, The street style, it’s the same flared palazzo, this time I styled it with this elegant piece of kurta. It had small navy blue prints giving it a contemporary style. The front cut makes the outfit indowestern and allows your palazzo to peep through the long flowy style of elegance.

Oxidised jewellery or Junk jewellery looks class apart when worn with traditional attire and the best color it complements to is “White”.

Gone are the days when women wore real stuff for occasions! Nowadays you can wear it the way you like and team it with any outfit. Yes, the best part is you can carry it the way you like, experiment it with different styles be it traditional or western.

It is back in vogue with its classy charm. Whether you style it with an elegant maxi, saree , kurta or even with your favourite cotton dresses or indo western outfits it will be appreciated. It can be anything from bangles, neckpieces, anklets, rings, maangtikas or our favourite jhumkas, they surely gives you a subtle look. My favourites are the jhumkas and rings in this section & for my daily wear I prefer wearing junk jewellery. And now when these are available in all colors and styles, why not style them with your day to day outfits like I did with this outfit.

I wore these big oxidised silver studs which had red and sea green stones which actually looked classic because of its unique design. I also wore this beautiful multi layer neckpiece which was very light and elegant and didn’t make the overall outfit look over the board.

Also, do not miss my little shiny blue nose stud 😉

You can carry this look for your college, day outings, professional meetings or when you just want to look elegant but running out of time.:)

This style is high on comfort and easy to carry. Whats your take?

High Slit Story!!

Hello Divas!!

I am back with another story!! This time it is the High Slit!! After long working hours and hectic schedules when I got one Sunday to relax, I knew I would relax by creating a new story! I bought this “Headturner” dress from “Missamore” long back but couldn’t style it. On fine afternoon, it was a bright sunny day when I had to go out for a party, I thought of styling this amazing outfit. The weather was not cold so this was the perfect day to wear it.

Long Slit tops are a biggest trend this season. Not only they are stylish but also super comfy!! You can wear it with jeggings, distressed denims, palazzos, skirts and what not. It’s a must have in every girl’s wardrobe. What made me attracted to it was the feminine touch it has and the sexy look it offers with that long high slit. Truly it is a Headturner!!! The floral work on the upper part and the sea green on its trail looks refreshing and eye catching. I paired it with a pair of blue jeggings and nude heels. This look took less than half an hour including makeup, generally, it doesn’t take me hours to get ready!! 😉

Statement Accessories

Any outfit is incomplete without a pair of classy accessories. Small little details take your outfit to the next level of elegance and charm!! I wore these big colorful square shaped earrings which has same color combinations like the top floral portion of this top. And after wearing this you need not wear anything else as it totally completes your outfit!! A Party requires something which is both elegant and classy. A sleek Golden clutch went just perfect with my attire, giving my lady look an edge.

I kept my hair simple as sometimes I just love when the wind blows my hair giving it a more natural look. And when the weather is just perfect like it is on hills, when sun shines bright and weather is cool you can always leave your hair open the way they are!!

Festive Delight – Indo Western Look

Hello friends..

This post is all about my favorite festival – Deepawali. Of all our Indian festivals this is closest to my heart and many of us may feel the same about it. I know I am a bit late in putting up this post as I was so engrossed in preparing for the festival. For me Diwali is all about Rangoli, Diyas and the decorations. Every year I search for something different with which I can decorate my home sweet home. My preparations start a long before the festival actually arrives. In this post I ll be sharing various decorations which I did and obviously my Look for the Occasion.

The best part of this festival and I am sure many of you too. This year I made four Rangolis!!! Yes, I am addicted to making rangolis to that extent!! And it took me almost 6 hours to do that. But I feel its worth it, because this is how I celebrate this amazing festival. Have a look at them and try making them in any festival, I am sure you will love it. My rangolis are a mix of color and flowers. One tip while selecting and buying colors from the market is just to see whether they are in sand form or not. Never buy those Holi colors as they will ruin your rangoli because those colors do not spread!!

Flower Rangoli with Floating candles – Easy to make & fill your home with sweet aroma and freshness.

Crop Top with Long Skirt

Here comes my overall look. This year I wanted to wear something different and do away with “Anarkalis”, “Lehengas” and other traditional outfits. I opted for this Indo western look keeping in mind the latest trends, occasion and the colours. This season it was all about crop tops whether you wear them for a western look or party look, so I decided to wear it in an ethnic way .I styled this with a long skirt to give it a traditional touch. The royal blue color with florals complemented the overall look and matched the occasion perfectly. I am so obsessed with this look that you will see more of these in my next posts.

Colourful Jhumkis

Ethnic wear is incomplete without heavy jewellery whether it is a neckpiece or earring or a Maangtika. Your ethnic outfit definitely calls for some heavy Indian jewellery. You have seen gold and silver jhumkis, kundan Jhumkis, oxidized jhumkis & many more of that sort , but have you ever come across colorful thread jhumkis!! I was lucky enough to get this pair of pink jhumkis which blended well with my attire and this was what I actually wanted. I am planning to get these more in different colors as I am completely in love with them.

So friends style yourself, decorate your home, show your creativity and say no to crackers. Try something different every year and bring out the stylish diva inside you all. Keep styling & experimenting and do not forget to give a feedback.
